7 Principles for Making Marriage Work

Guides married couples based on research by John Gottman on what makes marriages last. These principles aim to foster a deep, meaningful connection and help couples navigate the challenges of married life. 1-3 days in- person or (virtual) workshop.

Married or premarital couples with a less than perfect marriage. Small to medium group sizes (a minimum of 10 couples) for meaningful interaction and discussions.

Seminars/workshops can be held over 1-3 days in- person in partnership with a host organization. Interactive elements ensure active participation and long-lasting impact. Challenging activities and discussions are key to the success of the event. In Person or (virtual).

Marriage Mentor Training

Marriage Mentor Couples Training Course

This process can be described as mentorship within relationships. In this dynamic, a seasoned and experienced couple, who may not claim to be perfect but have navigated the ups and downs of their relationship, offers support. and advice to a less experienced couple.

The focus is on guiding, sharing wisdom, and offering perspective from lived experience rather than prescribing a "one-size-fits-all" solution. The seasoned couple helps the less experienced pair navigate challenges, celebrate victories, and develop a deeper understanding of their relationship, all while fostering a sense of connection, trust, and mutual growth. 1-3 day in-person or (virtual) training.

Requirements

Married couples with a less than perfect marriage, desire to help other marriages one on one. small to medium group sizes (a minimum of 5 couples) for meaningful interaction and discussions. Married couples are required to attend training together. In-person: Audio/visual equipment for presentations (projector, microphone, etc.). Virtual: Ensure internet connectivity and access to necessary virtual tools.
